Independent girl, not ready for woman

Yesterday evening I decided I would take a trip to the theatre and see if I could get a ticket to see Cats as it's touring and I first saw it 10 years ago. I got to the theatre and there was quite a queue for the box office but luckily most people were collecting tickets and I managed to get a ticket for £5 in the stalls on the end of a row.
I had a good view for the amount I paid and people around me had paid £37.50 so I did feel a bit smug sat in my seat. The performance started and cats appeared by the side of me and I instantly felt like a 10 year old child again being enthralled at what I was seeing. I thoroughly enjoyed going out by myself to see a show that I have loved since I was little thanks to my mother's CD, vinyl and the DVD that I have watched countless times. I was so surprised with how much I remembered from the show, though not surprising as I've nearly wore the DVD out aha. I was greeted by Rumpleteezer and Alonzo and had Tumblebrutus stand right by me when reciting what's a jellicle cat.
I shall definitely go to the theatre again and get a young persons ticket as I had a thoroughly enjoyable night even if it was by myself.

Stars are never sleeping, the dead ones and the living

Tuesday 26 March 2013

So it's almost the end of March!

Where has the time gone? This blog definitely has been neglected and it will until after exams have finished mid May then I can try and get html sorted and organise it better.

So been busy at university with essays that were getting more frequent and field trips that were a nice escape for a day and there were days and nights out which are always good. Then there was waiting for the dissertation projects to be released which had been delayed twice before they told us the first week of March finally! I'm so happy with my project on Oystercatchers which are these gorgeous birds that make the cutest sounds!

I cannot wait to get started on carrying my dissertation out, just got to get my proposal sorted and make sure that it's done well so I can go on to carry it out October/November time!

So I broke up for Easter last Thursday but almost didn't make it home but I'm so glad I decided last minute to go to the train station and see whether trains were running, as soon as I got there, there was my train so I hopped on and was on my way home. Got organised for my two exams in May by getting a revision timetable sorted which makes me happy because I know I'll stick to it so I can do the best I can do on these exams. Currently getting through my dissertation proposal and drawing lots of mind maps which is a lot of fun. Until I update again, hope you all have a nice day.
